Born – Queensland 1955
TRAINING
Completed Associate Diploma in Fine Art
Completed Post Graduate Diploma in Teaching
Completed Bachelor of Fine Art
Carol worked for many years as an Instructor in Art and Design at TAFE, QLD.

“For the past 40 years I have been excited, even a little obsessed with the challenge of working with clay.  I enjoy handling it, playing with it and trying out new possibilities.  This love of experimentation has led me to create a versatile range of ceramic pieces, from multiple-fired metallic lustres to fine porcelain origami bowls.  For me the process of making is equally as satisfying as the finished work.”
Carol’s ceramics are greatly inspired by the environment. She is a keen bushwalker and observer of nature, but likes to combine these aspects to create thought-provoking artworks of beauty and contemplation.
Her skills continue to be honed by her own research and experimentation.
