Cynthia House
Born - NSW
Resides - Sunshine Coast, Qld.

Cynthia House was born in Nyngan NSW Australia in1956. She paints primarily in acrylic, a medium that allows her the broadest range of experimentation to create contemporary backgrounds that contrast vividly with her realistic animal subjects. Her appreciation of the natural world began as a child growing up on a sheep and wheat property, developing into a deep concern for the endangered species that inspire her creativity. Graduating in Brisbane as a mature aged art student in 2002, Cynthia has shaped an artistic course through experimentation and a decision to never limit her artistic vision and always paint stories that excite the imagination.

Cynthia lives and works at Montville Queensland part of the beautiful Blackall Ranges.

Several commissions have been completed between 2010 till current.
