Artist Information
Jim Kinch was born in Dundalk, Ireland where he studied with Belfast painter Hugh McCormack and attended the Dundalk Technical College.
With a career in design and marketing, he emigrated to Australia in 1973 painting mostly in isolation and developing his strong “Post Impressionist” style.
Jim has exhibited in Australia regularly since 1990 and conducts regular workshops with art groups.
With many solo exhibitions interstate to his credit, his work has been commissioned by many corporate clients in Australia and overseas. His down to earth approach, variety of subjects, and in particular his action paintings, has resulted in ever increasing popularity.
Commissions are available for any sport or action subject.
